Exploring Sound Healing

Everything in the world is in a constant state of motion and vibration. If everything is vibrating, then everything is emitting a frequency. Even as individuals, we have our own frequency. Our thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and organs create a measurable electromagnetic field throughout and around our body.
The electromagnetic field around our body, or aura, is created through a combination of our lived experiences, emotions, actions, and internal happenings of our physical body. We can communicate with our aura through sound healing, releasing trapped emotions, energy work, breathwork, crystals, and more.

Throughout our day we are constantly interacting with energies of our environment, people we talk to and see, our foods, the products we use, etc. These energies can be positive or negative. Our body naturally adapts to match the vibration of the energy surrounding it. We can use this to make conscious, empowered decisions to make small energetic shifts to optimize our energy and life. Such as getting out in nature daily, building a community of like-minded people you admire, eating whole foods, using our phones less, moving our body, etc.
When we are going about our day and experience an emotion - that emotion goes through the body in 90 sec waves starting at the head to the ground. Sometimes the energy gets stuck as it is going through the wave and gets “trapped” in the body. If we don’t consciously work to release these trapped emotions, they can start to present as mental and physical health risks. We become out of tune with our natural vibration.

Sound healing helps us restore and replenish our frequency, by using external sound. Our body naturally matches its frequency, and we are able to release stored or stagnant energy and emotions. The sound helps activate our vagus nerve, putting us in a parasympathetic nervous state which slows down our brainwave activity to a relaxed, dreamlike state, allows us to release brain patterns, and form new pathways so we can detoxify and reset.
The best way to find out if it’s for you, is to go to a sound bath! Take some time for yourself, your body, mind and soul, allowing yourself to rest and come out with a new outlook on how sound changes your energetic state.
